Difference Between Journal Voucher And Payment Voucher

A Journal Voucher is an evidence document of Business Transactions. Payment Voucher is prepared as an evidence of payments made to suppliers, vendors, banks, etc.

A journal voucher contains verified accounting information related to Date, Particulars, Accounts involved in the transaction, amounts, supporting evidence documents of entry such as voucher, receipt or an invoice and authorized signatures.
