Difference Between Cash Memo And Voucher

Voucher is an internal document issued by the company for its own business records while Cash Memo is an external document issued by the seller to its customers / buyers as an evidence of receipt and payment of cash.

Cash Memo is issued by the seller after receiving the payment from the customer while a voucher is issued by the company after the receipt of an Invoice in accounts payable department from supplier or vendor.
