Types of Trial Balance
There are four types of Trial Balance . These are explained below: (i) Unadjusted Trial B alance It is the simplest and basic form of trial balance. It shows the unadjusted value of Different Types of Accounts at the end of the accounting period. (ii) Adjusted Trial B alance It shows the balances of accounts after recording Adjusting Entries . All the Accrual And Deferrals, Temporary Accounts And Permanents Accounts are Recorded at the adjusted value due to the adjustments made on these accounts during the accounting period. (iii) Extended Trial B alance It is the combination of both unadjusted and adjusted trial balances to shows us the better results about accounts’s balances by comparing the unadjusted values and unadjusted values side by side. So, it provides more details than the simple unajusted trial balance as it is an extension to a basic trial balance. (iv) Post Closing Trial B alance ...
