Difference Between Receipt Voucher And Payment Voucher

Receipt Voucher is prepared when there are Cash Receipt Transactions such as Cash received from customers, Fees Received, Rent Received, etc., while Payment Voucher is used for Cash Payment Transactions such as payments to suppliers / vendors, Fees Paid, Rent Paid, Salaries Paid, etc. as a supporting document.

If you want to know how much amount of cash received by the company from customers, then the accountant can check receipt voucher and how much amount paid to suppliers can be checked through payment voucher.
