Memo And Note
A memorandum, in short words called “Memo”, is an internal communication way to convey the message to different members of an organization. Members of the organization needs to convey messages to each other in order to get feedback and memo is one of the way to communicate within an organization.


A note, plural form is notes, is prepared to record important points of a meetings, presentations, lectures, etc., in order to remember main topic or agenda of the meeting. For example, the meeting is about, ”how to increase Sales”, then main points such as training of sales managers, increase incentives, etc., are notes to remind yourself about what is the meeting all about. A note is an informal message.



A memo can also be sent as a note or briefing for giving messages to various departments of the organization but a note may also be sent as a sentence or group of words for remembering important points of main topic delivered in the speech or presentation.



So, we can say that a memo is more formal way while a note is an informal way to convey messages to audience.
