A report is a more detailed information and concise form of writing about a particular subject matter i.e, about a problem, an event, etc., in order to provide valuable information to a particular group of people in a systematic way for the solutions of the problems or for describing facts findings or for events happenings organized in an organization.


A Notice is used to give important points to audience. Usually it is written on a paper. It is related to future events which will be possibly happened after some period of time. It is made in general i.e., it is made widely to either to public or whole members of the society. A notice is a more formal, factual and realistic message to convey to the audience.






Similarities Between Report And Notice


Both are written to inform audience about the facts or reality of the events, problems or causes, etc.

Both have great importance in effective business communication process.




So, the difference Between report and notice is that report is a more detailed writing document in which problems are identified alongwith their solutions or recommendations while a notice is made in general highlights important points of future events, meetings, etc.
