Difference Between Debit And Credit Balance

When the Debit Side of An Account exceeds with the credit side, then we say that it is a Debit Balance of an Account or the higher the balance of debit side over credit side is called debit balance while the higher the balance of credit side over debit side of an account is called credit balance.

Debit balance is written on opposite side i.e., on credit side of an account while credit balance is shown on debit side in order to balance the two sides (both debit and credit) of an account.
