Advertising is a marketing function or it is a process in which Advertisements take place in order to persuade the customers and it is made for the promotion and selling of products or services.

Short form of Advertisement is Ad (Singular form) and Ads (Plural Form) for Advertisements which is made either through newspaper or on television or on internet or through billboards or any other mediums for various advertising campaigns.

So, we can say that advertising is an industry in which various advertisements are prepared for running various advertising campaigns in order to influence the end customers to buy products or services.
