Difference Between Placard And Poster

 

A placard gives some information about something such as a request or an advice e.g., “Do Not Sit Here”, “No Smoking”, etc. A placard can be easily moved from one place to another as it has a stick to carry on the way. It can also be placed on the wall to convey message.

A Poster, usually larger in size, has printed images and texts and placed on wall or paper to advertise the products or services or to convey the messages effectively in an organization or in public places.
